As the world marks International Women’s Day on 8 March, Regis Aged Care joins in celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women around the globe. This year’s theme is DigitALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality—a call to action to achieve gender equality and empowerment of women and girls in the digital age.

At Regis, we recognise the invaluable contributions that women make to society, particularly in the aged care industry. Women make up most of our workforce, bringing a unique blend of compassion, empathy, and expertise to the care of our residents.

Our female employees play a critical role in delivering high-quality care to our residents, many of whom are women themselves. They provide support, companionship and a sense of security that can make a significant difference in the lives of our residents.

We are proud to say that we have a strong female representation at all levels of our organisation, from care to management. We recognise the importance of diversity and inclusivity in our workplace and strive to provide equal opportunities for everyone to grow and develop their careers.

As we celebrate International Women’s Day, we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the remarkable women who work for Regis Aged Care, as well as the incredible women in our communities who have made a positive impact on the world.

We invite everyone to join us in recognising the vital contributions that women make and to celebrate their achievements. Together, we can create a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.
