When asked why he was attracted to working within the sector, Thomas affirmed “aged care just worked with who I was, and it was the best decision of my career.” He stated, “Regis has been nothing but supportive in my development and goals.”

A typical day for Thomas is “busy, rewarding, holistic, exhausting and satisfying.” He loves working with all the highly skilled employees “to ensure a safe, skilled and caring environment for all residents.” Thomas is passionate about providing the highest quality of care to all residents at Regis Rosebud, reiterating “I enjoy knowing that I am supporting a team that provides the best care.”

When asked what advice he would give to those curious about working within the aged care sector, Thomas emphasised that it “is very rewarding and has so much growth and personal potential… I like that my actions and initiatives have a direct and positive impact on the residents and staff that I work with.”

Protecting our community

At Regis Rosebud, our highest priority is the health and safety of our residents, employees, and visitors. We pride ourselves on the well-established infection prevention and control measures that we have in place, which create a safe and secure environment for all. In response to the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen disruptions to supply chains and stock procurement, we have established dedicated hubs in Victoria to store our vital Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
